World Rugby is the world governing and law-making body for the sport of Rugby Union based in Dublin. In addition to its governance functions World Rugby organises a number of international tournaments and events including the Rugby World Cup, Women’s Rugby World Cup and the annual HSBC Rugby Sevens World Series and Women’s Sevens World Series Competitions.

World Rugby wishes to appoint a RWC 2023 Ticketing Operations Co-ordinator, on a fixed term two year contract of employment, based in Paris, reporting to the RWC 2023 Ticketing Operations Director.

Missions
  • Create close working relationships with RWC stakeholders and event operations to ensure the ticketing Operations at match venues are delivered efficiently.
  • Assist the RWC 2023 Ticketing Operations Director with quota management, seating manifest reviews and seat allocations for all venues and various constituent groups.
  • Work in collaboration with France 2023 to review and agree seat allocations and flows for all constituent guests.
  • In conjunction with the RWC 2023 Ticketing Operations Director and France 2023, design and implement operational plans and policies for the ticketing services at each of the venues.
  • Assist with the management and monitoring of Ticketing policies, operations and infrastructure for stakeholders.
  • Project manage the ticket distribution functionality and process in accordance with identified ttimelines and systems.
  • Assist in creating ticketing reports for Senior Management.
  • Assist in writing and collating Transfer of Knowledge ticketing documents for future RWCs.
  • Attend meetings and operational venue visits on behalf of the RWC Ticketing team as needed and where required including but not limited to London, across France and Dublin and produce reports on these meetings outlining topics and actions.
Profile

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working in a major event environment, preferably at a RWC
  • Experience of working in operations in a Ticketing team
  • Client liaison experience
  • Proficient and accurate written and verbal skills
  • Highly proficient MS Office skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient at creating detailed reports
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage several tasks and projects at any one time particularly during high pressure periods
  • Fluency in written and oral English and French
