Sportcarriere is assisting On Location in the recruitment of a Director of Marketing Services, Olympic & Paralympic games (F/M) on permanent contract.

Functions and responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for managing the marketing services & the content factory, for working closely with internal On Location functional teams, external stakeholders and will need to be capable of managing multiple, ongoing workstreams.

  • Act as the key point of contact between the Marketing Team and other internal On Location functional teams (Stakeholders, Custom Groups, Sales, International Relations, Production, Tech…) ;
  • Manage the Content Factory (Head of Production, Producer, Designer, Production Manager, Localization Manager, Languaging Agency, Freelancers & Agencies) in charge of producing all creative assets to support internal, external functional areas & the company’s go-to-market strategy ;
  • Map out and implement information flow and communications structures to ensure alignment, timeliness and responsiveness across internal teams ;
  • Project planning including defining stakeholders, scope, deliverables, dependencies, resource needs, key milestones, sprints and critical paths ;
  • Manage the Marketing Services Team in charge of coordinating activities and communications across and between internal teams in multiple countries and time zones ;
  • Chair and facilitate kickoff meetings, and product workshops ;
  • Agile project management to ensure activities are performed on time, on budget and in alignment with the brief; ensure changes to the scope, brief or deliverables are communicated and enacted rapidly ;
  • Report project progress to relevant key stakeholders.
Profile requirements
  • The ideal candidate is someone with prior experience working as part of an international marketing team with experience managing teams & multiple workstreams independently ;
  • The ideal candidate will recognize and adapt to the environment, and adapting to what can be a fun and very rewarding career opportunity ;
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder ;
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail ;
  • Experience in Agile project management ;
  • Confident in chairing and facilitating meetings, and workshops ;
  • Proven track record in delivering complex projects to scope, deadline and budget ;
  • Experience researching and using various collaboration tools/software such as Monday, Asana, Teamwork, Slack, Teams, Workplace, Zoom, Notion, Google Suite, Microsoft 360 or similar ;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Power Point) ;
  • Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills ;
  • French and English fluency.
