Sportcarriere is assisting On Location in the recruitment of a Coordinator, International Sales Network – Olympics & Paralympics on permanent contract.

On Location will appoint third parties to act as its Official Sub-Distributors (SDs) to sell Official Games Hospitality Products in certain markets, with the goal of building a global sales network. The Coordinator, International Sales Network – Olympics & Paralympics will be primarily responsible for managing the relationships with the SDs and ensure that they maintain the vision of the Paris 2024 Games and will be successful in servicing their clients.

This position requires a dynamic and competitive multi-lingual sales and client-servicing professional with a successful track record in professional sports and/or large scale multi-national events. Together with the Manager, International Sales Network, this role will support the Official Sub-Distributors in their sales planning for the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games (Paris 2024, Milano Cortina 2026, and Los Angeles 2028).

This individual will leverage their experience and understanding of Olympic requirements and goals in order to:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the SDs.
  • Identify and manage the communication, processing, and fulfillment of SD needs for On Location’s hospitality, travel, cultural and other offerings.
  • Build long-term and successful partnerships with SDs to maximize reach to Olympic fans in their respective territories.
  • Maintain a customer-first approach by looking at the entire event ecosystem through the lens of the customer journey.
Functions & Responsibilities
  • Develop and provide sales materials and detailed product brochures (with accurate pricing and necessary assets) to assist sales/servicing efforts.
  • Create, manage, and execute various timelines to align with revenue targets and budgets.
  • Act as a key liaison between Product team and multiple other functional areas within the Commercial Hospitality Programme in order to create, build, and manage product offerings.
  • Coordinate and control the transfer of information, sales, and service documentation with the Sub-Distributors.
  • Manage inventory and product builds in proprietary inventory management system(s).
  • Ensure that the SD’s End Users receive premier levels of service during Games time.
  • Continuously monitor processes and provide recommendations for efficiency and quality improvement.
  • Put systems in place for knowledge transfer for future Olympic games.
Profile requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field
  • 3+ years Sales and Management Experience in sports or hospitality.
  • Advantage if there is an expertise and deep understanding of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements and the stakeholders therein
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, marketing, and sales skills
  • Strong technology skills
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and schedules
  • Be able to work across multiple functional areas
  • Multi-lingual (English + at minimum one other language)
  • Sales Force CRM expertise, Asana, and Excel
