Sports represents a major social and societal stake and is also a driving force for economic growth. Being aware of this responsibility, some of the representatives in the sporting economy created Sporsora in 1994, an interprofessional association serving the public’s interest through sport.
Sporsora’s missions are:
- Promoting the interests and beliefs of the players within the sports economy
- Advocate for a responsible community
- Optimize the costs and efficiencies of brand investments in sport
- Develop and professionalize the sporting sector, particularly by promoting sports marketing as platforms for innovation, management and communication
Sporsora currently brings together more than 200 players in the sport ecosystem (advertisers, agencies, sports organizations, media, educational and training institutions). Sporsora organizes about twenty events each year, numerous meetings with business schools and commissions and offers other services to its members.
