BeIN Sports is a pay TV network, a subsidiary of the beIN Media Group group broadcasting in France. The beIN Sports package includes three sport-themed channels: beIN Sports 1, beIN Sports 2, beIN Sports 3, and a beIN Sports MAX multiplex consisting of 7 channels (beIN Sports MAX 4 to 10) to cover multiple sporting events in Europe simultaneously, especially during championship broadcasts.

The international network, piloted from Paris, is lead by Yousef Al-Obaidly, who is known for launching the channel with Charles Biétry. Florent Houzot is the Editorial Director. The pay-per-view subscription offer for cable, satellite or on-line includes 3 streaming channels and 7 channels for live broadcasts (beIN Sports Max) dedicated for broadcasting events such as the matches for Ligue 1, the Champions League or the Europa League.

In August, 2014, the leaders announced that a third channel will be live in September of the same year, to be named beIN Sports 34. This channel will be dedicated to all sports (handball, volleyball, tennis, athletics …). However, when there are several football matches on simultaneously, this channel will broadcast football.

BeIN Sports has reached over 2 million subscribers in France and on demand  in September, 2015 and continues to grow. BeIn is expected to have over 3 million subscribers by the start of the Euro 2016.
