BeIN Sports is a pay TV network, a subsidiary of the beIN Media Group group broadcasting in France. The beIN Sports package includes three sport-themed channels: beIN Sports 1, beIN Sports 2, beIN Sports 3, and a beIN Sports MAX multiplex consisting of 7 channels (beIN Sports MAX 4 to 10) to cover multiple sporting events in Europe simultaneously, especially during championship broadcasts.

The international network, piloted from Paris, is lead by Yousef Al-Obaidly, who is known for launching the channel with Charles Biétry. Florent Houzot is the Editorial Director. The pay-per-view subscription offer for cable, satellite or on-line includes 3 streaming channels and 7 channels for live broadcasts (beIN Sports Max) dedicated for broadcasting events such as the matches for Ligue 1, the Champions League or the Europa League.

In August, 2014, the leaders announced that a third channel will be live in September of the same year, to be named beIN Sports 34. This channel will be dedicated to all sports (handball, volleyball, tennis, athletics …). However, when there are several football matches on simultaneously, this channel will broadcast football.
